Nucleus Research recently completed a technology value matrix for CRM applications. This matrix utilizes overall application functionality and usability to rate CRM applications, and includes both on-premise and SaaS vendors and applications.
Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics CRM were very clearly rated as having the best combination of functionality and usability across more than a dozen premier CRM vendors.
